Malta Presbyterian Church

Malta Presbyterian Church is one of the newest congregations in the Albany Presbytery.   Our church was chartered in May 2000 and the current pastor, The Reverend Pamela E. Woodman was installed in April 2001.  The church property is in the Malta Parade Ground Historic District dating back to the middle 1800's.  The Dunning Street Presbyterian Society was organized in 1845.  Stained glass windows in the church bear the names of many of the founders and community leaders in the Town of Malta at that time.

Although former congregations were dissolved, ownership of the property remained with The Presbytery of Albany until development of a new church was started in the early 1990's.  Malta Presbyterian Church is a result of this new church development initiative.

Malta Presbyterian Church is a warm and welcoming Family of God offering a traditional worship environment serving residents of Malta and the surrounding communities.

The congregation is a small but committed church family and is enthusiastic about the future!  We are thrilled to have a new Fellowship Hall/Sunday School addition to our historic sanctuary. We are excited about having this new facility to better serve our members and the community.
